Darci Lynne Is The 12-Year Old Girl Who Won America’s Got Talent 2017

Singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer was announced the winner of America’s Got Talent season 12 Wednesday night (Sept. 20).

After more than 52 million votes were cast in the contest, the 12-year-old became the second ventriloquist to win the NBC reality show’s $1 million grand prize.

The Oklahoma native and her puppet, Petunia, were joined on the live finale by season 2 AGT winner Terry Fator — a ventriloquist Farmer called her “idol” — for a duet of “Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better).
